Driving and parking

Street parking in the centre is by colour: white lines for visitors who pay (1 euro an hour for the first 2 hours, 3 hours at most), blue lines for residents only. A garage near Syntagma, Plaka or Monastiraki cost 10 to 13 euros for an hour on the booking platforms we read on 6 Oct 2026. Read the parking guide.
