How reviews work
Every place, service and location card on Heart Athens has a Review this place button. Here is what happens next.
How we check reviews
Reviews on Heart Athens are written by registered users. We do not check whether a reviewer actually visited or bought from the place, so reviews are not verified as coming from customers. Before publishing, we check every review for spam, links, personal data and breaches of our rules, and we remove reviews we find to be fake or paid for. Businesses cannot pay to remove or reorder reviews. Reviews are shown newest first.

Ratings from other sites
We never copy star ratings, review counts or opening hours from Google or Tripadvisor, and we never mix them with our readers’ reviews. Each card links to them instead so you see them live.
